I am a Spanish native who has been living in England since 1996. I am married and I have three children. I lived in London for 10 years and I now live in Cornwall. I worked in Logistics and sales for IT companies for 10 years. I also worked for Cornwall Council and a small company dealing with imports from Europe. I also have some property management experience. I love teaching 1-1 and to small number of students as I can adapt my teaching to their needs. I am a qualified teacher in MFL (Spanish with French) and I specialised in teaching Spanish at KS3, KS4, GCSE and A level. I teach Spanish IB at Truro College. I hold a current DBS and I am willing to travel around 10-12 miles. I am very committed and love helping my students become more confident in their language skills. As part of my Business degree I spent a year in Ireland as part of the Erasmus Programme and I fully understand the challenges of learning another language and becoming confident. I do a lot of speaking practise in my lessons and work on pronunciation to build my students` confidence. I am very good at English grammar and English in general. I am a very patient, dynamic and enthusiastic teacher.

Experience: I have a degree in Business Studies and I completed a PGCE with Cornwall Scitt in Modern Foreign Languages in 2016. I have NQT status and I have worked in lots secondary schools in Cornwall. I have experience teaching KS3 and KS4 and A level and I currently work part time at Redruth Secondary school. I have also been teaching privately to adults for over 12 years. I am currently teaching the International Baccalaureate curriculum at Truro College alongside some of the adult lessons. My previous GCSE students have all achieved at least a 6 in Spanish.
