Fun, friendly maths tuition available for all ages and abilities.
My name is Tom, I am based in North Baddesley. Tuition is tailored to individual needs, ranging from basic numeracy to specific exam preparation, and aims to be both relaxing and enjoyable!

Experience: I have previously worked as a personal tutor for several years while studying or working, and I have worked as a voluntary maths teacher in Sierra Leone in West Africa.
I have a BSc and MSc in Applied Mathematics, and I have worked for several large Engineering and IT companies. I currently work as a computer programmer.

Tom is very pleasant and our son enjoys his tutorials with him. Tom is helping him with A level exam prep and is doing a very good job, our son feels more confident tackling the harder questions and is more relaxed about his exams.

Tom did not end up tutoring my son. We could not find a mutually convenient time to begin with and then I did not hear from him for a while. If Toms` communication had better I am sure this would have helped. I did not hear quickly enough from him - nearly 2 weeks - so I had to pay for another tutors` details and we did eventually, after a initial false start, progressed with her. He did eventually, with an apology, get back to me, and we were going to make a start with him, but then the other tutor worked out. So I can only assess Tom on his communication skills. Perhaps in the future,I would contact him again if needed.
