Information about Corinne

I am a very enthusiastic person full of energy and charisma. I strive to find the best in everyone. I love teaching and found it really enjoyable to give children and adults new information and allow them to use it within their every day life.
I am very good at re structuring prior knowledge to allow children and adults the ability to put in to context what they know. I strive to teach children about real world problems in a applicable context as the skills they need help them progress successfully in the real world.
I am a very good listener and I am extremely flexible, this is essential when working with children as their working level changes all of the time, which means you have to ensure you are always meeting their needs.
I am a very methodical person with clear goals and targets. I make lists to ensure that I fulfil all of my goals and I also accept constructive criticism confidently.
I strive to teach myself new things also and I am never frightened to admit to things I don`t know. I have successfully completed a Level 1 and 2 in British Sign Language.

Availability: I charge £30 per hour or two hours for £50 (only if both hours completed in same day)

Thank you for your interest.

Willing to travel: Home Only

Experience: I am a qualified teacher and completed three years of teaching after successfully completing my NQT year.

I no longer work in the Primary Sector and have since moved on to FE (Further Education).

I have lots of experience with dyslexia being dyslexic myself and have experience of various other special needs.

With this in mind I have had regular placements within schools and on top of this I have also taken part in a great deal of voluntary placements as I wish to be a teacher of the deaf once qualified.
I always use every opportunity to further my teaching practice and strive to improve in what I do.

I have also organised a production `When I Grow Up` where I worked with a group of 30 school children and various other organisations that enabled me to teach the children and also allow them to perform on stage in `The Arc` in Stockton in front of their parents and other members of public. This gave the children the self esteem to be able to believe in themselves and understand that the sky is the limit and anything is possible if they only put their mind to it.
