I am an experienced tutor with an excellent track record. Students that I work with achieve exemplary results.
I am currently Head of History, Law, Classics and Religious Education at Queensmead School in Hillingdon. I am also an examiner for the Edexcel exam board. I mark both GCSE and A level scri pts, so I have a thorough working knowledge of how to get top marks in exams.
I have a 2.1 degree from Cambridge University (History and Law). I am also a qualified solicitor, having previously worked for a Magic Circle Law firm.

Tim is a phenomenal tutor. As he is an examniner I could be certain he was marking all my work perfectly, he also knows a great deal about exam technique which is so vitally important at A Level. In addition, he of course knows a great deal about History, and has made his own online resources which show you only what you need to know and are full of exercises which keep learning interactive and active, so working online worked phenomenally well.
He is also both heavily involved with university applications at his school and a Cambridge graduate himself. He would be ideal from Oxbridge History preparation, or indeed for sessions about university applications in general.
Most of all, he is patient, friendly and so approachable. I honestly couldn`t reccomend him enough.

Tim is an excellent tutor, friendly and very pleasant. My son who is doing his igcse this summer enjoys his lesson with Tim and finds his tips and methodology extremely helpful in tackling questions.
