Information about Trish
I believe that every student deserves to have a positive learning experience. I help students gain confidence and progress at their own pace. This is by putting together individual learning packages, after assessment and consultation with Parents/Carers. I consider myself to be caring, patient and reliable. I work with all age groups and cover all Levels/Key Stages, including GCSE`s, mainly teaching English and Primary Maths. My teaching style is ”Student-Centred” putting students interests first, in a relaxed and informal learning environment.
Availability: I currently have spaces throughout the week and Saturday mornings.
Willing to travel: 20 miles
Experience: I have been teaching since 1999 and have taught in various Educational Settings. For the last 17 years I have done Home Tutoring. During this time I have worked for many educational establishments and done contractual work for local authorities, providing 1:1 and small group tuition. I have also built up a clientele of Private Students, covering all Key stages, including GCSE`s. I have a vast array of experience, knowledge and success. I can confidently say that all my past Employers, Parents and Students, speak highly of my work ethos and professionalism.

Trish has been working with my daughter for a month now. My daughter says she has learnt more in that month than she has for years! Trish is very approachable and her teaching style is nothing like being at school which is perfect for my daughter who wasn’t that keen on the idea of home tutoring. Trish’s sessions have a structure but they are relaxed & flexible. Overall we are really pleased to have found Trish.

Trish did a great job of assessing my sons skills and designing a program to help him learn at his own rate. She was very friendly and encouraging of him, quickly moving through a variety of exercises to keep his attention. I`d definitely recommend Trish!

My daughter did not have great experience with previous tutor
It was a constant HIT with Trish! She loves her. Trish is professional but friendly and really funny at the same time. She managed to build up nice relationship between herself and my daughter. She’s good teacher too. I would certainly recommend her to other parents.
