I am a native French speaker, born and educated in Paris and graduated from the Sorbonne University,Paris. I have been living in England for over 30 years and I taught full-time at all levels as a qualified French teacher until January 2012 when I decided to devote myself to one to one tuition in which I have proved highly successful.
I believe that the most efficient way of learning other than total immersion is the one to one approach which has allowed me personally to enable the students willing to invest the extra time to progress exponentially, get motivated and achieve their potential.

I consider myself an extremely dedicated teacher, eager to see the students progress and enjoy themselves learning about French culture as the same time as they improve their command of the language.

Availability: Weekdays and weekends. Morning as well as evening. All online at the moment.

Experience: I have been teaching French at KS3, KS4 and KS5 levels and to adults learners for around 25+ years in total until four years ago when I retired from permanent full time teaching in order to devote myself to one to one tuition and to teaching Pilates which is my other great interest. To quote but two instances I am particular proud of, I will mention that I tutored my own son to passing his French G.C.S.E. with the top mark in the country, and his French A Levels with flying colours. As a result he graduated in French from Oxford University with a special mention. A few years ago, one of my A Level students whom I tutored privately obtained the top marks in the country in every module of the exam board she was following. In addition to this since I started teaching privately all of my private students performed well beyond expectation in accordance with the number of lessons they had attended. etc...
