Information about Saira

I am a qualified Maths teacher currently working in an Ofsted rated outstanding school. I am passionate about Mathematics and developing students problem solving and reasoning skills. I have strong subject knowledge of Maths as well as up to date and thorough knowledge of the current curriculum. My students make exceptional progress through my use of different teaching techniques. This includes retrieval practise, regular checking for understanding, modelling and scaffolding concepts. This allows pupils of all abilities to achieve and exceed their targets. I have access to a wide range of GCSE revision material, past papers and exam style questions.

Availability: I am available Thursday evenings, Friday afternoons and evenings, as well as the weekends.

Experience: I have been teaching and tutoring as a qualified teacher for five years. I have experience teaching pupils of varied abilities and backgrounds during my career. 90% of my 2022 GCSE cohort achieved grades 8/9.

I highly recommend Saira as a Maths tutor. Saira has been working with my daughter each week for the past 5 months towards her final GCSE`s, and she has made a tremendous difference in her understanding of Maths. Saira is an excellent tutor who is kind, supportive and reliable. Saira goes the extra mile to help Katie succeed. She is able to explain concepts in a clear and concise way. Katie enjoys the lessons and has learned so much from her. I would not hesitate to recommend Saira to anyone who is looking for a great maths tutor.
