I am a qualified Maths teacher with over 8 years of experience working in an Ofsted rated outstanding secondary school. I have a proven track record of enabling students to meet and exceed their academic goals. I am passionate about Mathematics and developing student`s problem solving and reasoning skills. I hold a BSc Mathematics degree (1st class) and therefore possess excellent subject knowledge as well as up to date and thorough knowledge of the current curriculum. My students make exceptional progress through my use of different teaching techniques. This includes retrieval practise, regular checking for understanding, modelling and scaffolding concepts. This allows pupils of all abilities to achieve and exceed their targets. I have access to a wide range of GCSE and A Level revision material, past papers and exam style questions.

Availability: I am available weekday evenings, Friday afternoons and evenings, as well as the weekends.

Throughout my teaching career, I have gained significant experience working with a variety of examination boards, including Edexcel, AQA, and OCR for GCSE and IGCSE Mathematics. I am familiar with the specific content, assessment styles, and expectations of each board, ensuring that my students receive targeted and effective preparation for their exams. Additionally, I have experience teaching A Level Mathematics (Edexcel), providing a solid foundation for students progressing to advanced studies.
