Hello and thanks for visiting my profile.

I am a patient, encouraging and fun person to work with, and love being a part of the growth of all students I teach.

Teaching is a big part of who I am. My style of teaching is positive and structured, and it is important that each student is allowed to learn at their own pace. I enjoy training each student towards understanding Music as a language in itself, working on both the technical and musical sides of their playing, and helping them become more confident.

Experience: At the age of 16 I received the opportunity to teach for Miss Anna Shuttleworth (former Casals student) on a residential course in York, and really enjoyed supporting young students.

Since 2005 I have been teaching regularly. While a Master`s Degree student in the USA, I was employed by the San Francisco Conservatory of Music to teach for their "Conservatory in the Schools" program and for three years was teaching roughly forty young cellists.

University of Liverpool (2012-2016)
Private Teacher (2008 to present)

I am currently teaching online as well as being mobile in the Tain area.
