I have been a secondary school English teacher for 10 years and subsequently, have a sound knowledge and understanding of the requirements of the national curriculum for both English Language and Literature from KS2 to KS5.
I have taught in both the state and private sector and I am currently teaching English Language and English Literature GCSE (AQA) as well as A level English Literature (WJEC, Eduqas) and English Language and Literature (AQA). I have also prepared students for both Edexcel and Eduqas exam boards as GCSE level.
I am experienced in preparing pupils for the 11+.
I am a patient, positive, friendly tutor who relishes seeing my students grow in confidence and progress in the subject.
