Favourite quote:
A comfort zone is a beautiful place, but nothing ever grows there.
I provide biology tuition and may expand to chemistry and physics, depending on demand and availability.
Availability: Evenings, weekends, school holidays.
Willing to travel: 15 miles
Experience: I provide a friendly, patient, compassionate and individualistic approach. Everyone is different and has a preferred learning style.
Recently, I have worked as a graduate science teacher and a cover supervisor in secondary schools. I have taught biology and chemistry to students aged 11-16 years; including teaching students with Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND). I foster meaningful relationships with all staff and students, and I am specifically requested to return to the same schools.
I have also provided undergraduate and postgraduate student training and supervision at university. I have worked as a demonstrator for biomedical students and supervised students with their research projects within a laboratory setting.
