I am a qualified primary school teacher with a degree in Criminology and PGCE. I have been teaching for 9 years and have a great deal of experience teaching year 4, 5 and 6 children. I am particularly passionate about teaching English, enjoying reading at home as a hobby. I also enjoy history, having taught Key Stage 2 children about Vikings, Romans, Tudors and World War 2. During my spare time, I enjoy historical documentaries and visiting English Heritage sites with my young family. I have a keen interest in Motorsport, regularly attending races across the UK and Europe. I am also a runner, having run multiple half marathons and a marathon.

I feel fortunate enough to have taught children of a variety of different abilities during my time so far as a teacher. With the experience that I have accumulated thus far, I believe I am able to identify strengths and areas of improvement quite quickly to best help children progress further with their studies. I can offer children a high level of support to prepare them for their SATs and help them acquire the necessary skills with their writing and mathematics. I am also willing to provide support through email and skype/zoom to discuss any difficulties they may be having with their work. Considering my experience so far with teaching, I believe I am best suited for providing support for children in Key Stage 2.

I offer sessions at a rate of £25 per hour remotely. When it becomes safe to do so and if I am able to make the journeys, I am more than happy to provide these sessions at your home.

Availability: Every evening during the week and anytime over the weekend.
