Charlie

Hi,

My name is Charlie and i am currently training as a Year 6 teacher in a local primary school.

I graduated from the University of Portsmouth in 2013 with a 1st class BA(Hons) in Drama & Performance.

Having a passion for the arts has allowed me to work in an engaging and exciting manner. Having a keen interest in childrens literature allows me to really thrive teaching English - although i do still enjoy the maths too!

Availability: Weekdays - After 6
Weekends - Before 1

Willing to travel: 5 miles

Experience: I have worked the last 3 years in an inner London primary school where i gained extensive experience working with years 4, 5 & 6.

I`ve worked teaching whole classes core subjects as well as with small groups, 1:1 sessions and SEN learners. I have now progressed to the next stage of my professional development by enrolling in perfecting my teaching practise.

I have a succinct knowledge of KS2 SATs expectations as well as a fantastic knowledge of the upper KS2 subjects.

I have been teaching classes full time for the last 3 months with a focus on Maths and English. Differentiation and high expectations have shown a succinct and effective progress level across the year 5 cohort in both subjects.
