I am an upbeat, energetic and dedicated qualified teacher. Aside from teaching, I enjoy walking my dogs, swimming and camping. My priorities as a tutor are to ensure my students gain confidence, independence and a deep understanding of the skills and knowledge that they require in line with the current National Curriculum. I love my job and greet every tutoring session with dedication and enthusiasm. I have a positive approach and take time to get to know my students so that they come to love learning and have the self belief required to take them to the next level.

Experience: I graduated in Zoology (the study of animal biology) with a First-Class Honours degree in 2012. I have been a Primary School teacher since 2013, teaching skills in depth across a broad range of topics. In 2018, I became a private tutor. I also balance my tutoring work with being a supply teacher, therefore ensuring I am up to date with the latest methods, priorities and curriculum content. I enjoy challenging and stretching the most eager learners. Equally, I love drawing on a range of strategies to motivate those who don’t naturally love education. I also have experience of working with learners who have ASD, ADHD and Dyslexia. Overall, my career so far has covered a wide range of aspects of teaching, intervention and pastoral care.
