I am experienced, patient and understanding tutor. I have met many children who are underachieving because of a lack of self-belief and confidence in their own abilities. A lack of confidence can lead to a fear of failure or reluctance to try. I strongly believe that all children have potential and just need the right support to nurture it.

I currently tutor a range of children from 5 to 11 years in the Ealgeslciffe area, either in their home or mine; tutoring in English, Maths or a mixture of both.

Availability: Monday 9am-5pm
Tuesday 9am-2pm and 6-7pm
Thursday 9am-2pm and 4:45-6:45pm
Friday 9am-6pm
Saturday 10-12am

Willing to travel: 8 miles

Experience: I began teaching in 1999 worked in small and medium sized primary schools across Early Years, Key Stage 1 and Lower Key stage 2. Throughout this time, I have supported children through home tuition, tailoring learning to bridge gaps and build confidence. This has included preparing children for Key Stage 2 SATs in Reading, SPAG and Maths. Since 2018 I have been tutoring full-time.
