Do you want to become more confident in MATHS or GERMAN?
I`m a friendly person who likes to make both subjects relevant and fun. All my lessons are individual and tailor-made to your needs, e.g. follow-up on school lessons, examination revision, going back to where MATHS started to become tricky or where the GERMAN grammar needs some more explaining, and then applying either to the real world.
My GERMAN lessons for adult learners – beginners as well as improvers – are always personalised, e.g. German for holidays, family + friends, or business. I also do group lessons for corporates.
Availability: Flexible working hours. I always aim to tutor you when it suits you best, particularly in the run-up to exams. By individual arrangement, I also teach at weekends or do crash courses during school holidays.
In-person or online via Zoom/Skype.
Willing to travel: 5 miles
Experience: As a former banker I have nearly two decades` experience of using MATHS in real life situations and also six years` experience of doing private Maths tuition – from KS2 to GCSEs.
As a GERMAN native speaker I have been doing one-to-one tuition in German since 2010 – for students from KS3 to adult learners.
I also have experience in helping children with dyslexia.

My son is 10 and has enjoyed 2 support sessions with Mareile. She`s great and he really likes her. She gives him her support, creates a environment that has lots of light and no distractions. He really looks forward to his time with her and asks me each week. He said to me on his first session, she`s so nice mum, so calm and she has a lovely quiet house! He`s been very enthused and I am looking forward to her supporting George with the challenges of being in his last year at Primary. We have 2 lesson planned in June and then we are going to plan the Summer holidays so everything is kept consistent. Really pleased

Mareile has been a fantastic tutor for my daughter. As she approaches her year 11 German exams this Summer, I have seen her grow in confidence and achieve grades she didn`t think were possible. Mareile is always so positive and engaging, that my daughter thoroughly enjoys her time with her. She listens to the areas that need focus and comes up with new and exciting ways to learn. With Mareile by her side, my daughter is going into her year 11 exams feeling well prepared and far more confident. I couldn`t recommend her more highly.

I have been having lessons with Mareile now for several months and I have found them both enjoyable and informative. I very much enjoy our lessons and have learned a lot since I started. Mareile helps me to go at my pace and focus on areas that I particularly struggle with. She listens, and is always flexible in her approach to lessons to ensure that the student is the one that benefits.
