I`m Jack, a Maths PhD student from Manchester, UK. I`d like to tutor students in A-Level Maths, Further Maths or Physics.

Experience: I am close to finishing a PhD in Mathematics from the University of Manchester and have a 1st class Master`s degree in Mathematics and Physics, also from Manchester. As a PhD student I worked as a teaching assistant within the Mathematics department. In one semester this involved assisting the lecturer of a third year undergraduate course during tutorials, roaming the room helping small groups of students who were completing exercise sheets. On several other semesters, I led supervision classes of around 15 first year undergraduates. For these classes I marked homework, prepared lesson plans, worked through example questions with the students in-class and helped to clarify topics from the lectures which the students had struggled with.
