Information about Declan
My name is Declan and I am in my fifth year of primary school teaching. I am able to provide tutoring to all years at primary school and up to GCSE for maths. I am 28 years old and a very relaxed and easy going person.
Availability: Weekdays 5pm-9pm.
Saturday or Sunday day 9-5
Willing to travel: 12 miles
Experience: I have been teaching now for 5 years. I have an A in A Level maths, B in GCSE maths and C in additional maths at GCSE. I have been tutoring for 3 years now, helping children from years 3-6 improve their maths reasoning and understanding, with families very pleased with how their children have progressed.

Our daughter looks forward to her maths sessions as she finds it fun. Declan has a relaxed manner and patient so she feels at ease and comfortable saying when she needs help. Learning is a mixture of exploration, questioning and guidance which really works for her.

We were initially nervous about looking for a tutor for our 10 year old however we needn`t have worried. We contacted Declan who is friendly, approachable and instantly made our son feel at ease.
The content and pace of each lesson is just right and Luke is really seeing the benefit both in terms of his knowledge and confidence which have both improved greatly.
Declan is reliable and flexible and we would highly recommend him.

It’s been a few weeks now that Declan’s been tutoring my son. Already seen improvements in maths. His methods of teaching make it more simple for my son to understand. Always punctual and will finish a lesson after the work is done.
