Fully qualified primary teacher with 9 years classroom and 6 years tutoring experience. I tutor children 1:1 in their home or mine, as well as small groups which takes place at the Brooklands Pavillion. I use the 2014 Revised National Curriculum in Maths and English ensuring that what I teach complements your child`s learning at school. I am able to prepare children for the 11+ entrance examination as well as other common entrance tests. My my aim is to give your child the confidence and skills to succeed in the classroom and beyond, giving them greater chances and choices in life. I look forward to hearing from you.

Availability: I have availability in my small group sessions and some 1:1 slots. I am available for catch up and revision classes in the holidays.

Experience: I am a fully qualified primary trained teacher with 9 years classroom and 6 years tutoring experience. I have taught in both the independent and state sectors and have an in depth knowledge of the primary curriculum thus understanding the learning journey my children are taking. Teaching is my passion and I have taught from EYFS right through to year 6 SATs with successful results. Over the years, I have taught children who are getting ready for entrance examinations including the 11+ and those going for independent schools and scholarship tests. I focus on Maths and English skills and knowledge as these can be transferred to other areas of the National Curriculum. I have, with experience, learnt many different teaching styles and can adapt lessons to meet your child`s preferred learning style. My main aim is to improve your child`s confidence and ability to approach their learning with a positive attitude, even when things get tough!
