Lesson Information : After-school Club teaches students of all ages Mandarin (Simplified Chinese) in a group after-school environment and is available to students from all schools in the Kent and Sussex area. We aim to engage our student’s minds through the language learning process, sharing with them the culture and customs of native China. Our Mandarin lessons follow a systematic approach to learning. Listening, Speaking, reading, and writing techniques. We enrich the learning process further through the use of Chinese music, art and calligraphy in addition to explaining the significance of cultural events and customs. We enhance lessons further through the use of modern learning techniques such as online based learning exercises and educational Mandarin games which assist our students in knowledge retention, the expansion of their vocabulary, reading skills and general level of engagement and enjoyment. Our teachers are professionally qualified and native Chinese Mandarin speakers. We take great pride in teaching students of all ages and levels of competency and help them to progress. We can also assist in preparing students for Mandarin exams such as GCSE, A Level and HSK.
