I`m passionate about education and in particular Mathematics. I`ve been in the education field for many years in various roles.
My aim is to make the subject fun and accessible to all levels and boost the student’s confidence in their mathematical ability as well as generating a `have a go` attitude.
As a tutor there is no better moment than when a student suddenly `gets it!` For the pupil this moment is equally rewarding.
My main aim to achieve the best grade possible for each student.
For those approaching exams we look closely at previous papers and mark schemes to achieve maximum scores.
Last year my pupils at GCSE level achieved an A* at the higher tier and also the highest grade in Further Maths whilst the foundation tier pupil achieved a C grade.
My A Level students achieved a variety of grades from D to A, but what is most important is that ALL showed their full mathematical potential and enjoyed their maths.
Recently I`ve achieved a level 5 award in Dyscalculia and Maths learning difficulties; support and intervention (British Dyslexia Association). This uses the idea of a multisensory approach to teaching.

Experience: Most recently have taught A Level Mathematics [Decision 1 and 2, Core 1-3 and Mechanics 1], Further Maths (AQA), Additional Maths (OCR),Higher and Foundation GCSE, plus Scholarship 13+ CE.
Currently supporting a wide spectrum of students some of whom have severe issues with Maths due to anxiety and others show neurodiversity.
