Information about Matthias

I am master student of one of Europeans best art schools the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf and awarded with two remarkable art prizes.
In addition to that I developed high educational skills through the specialised German art teacher training. I worked also as artist-assistant in the studio of Tony Cragg.
I am Expert in the fields of painting, drawing, sculpture, graphic, art history and photography (analogue and digital, Photoshop, Lightroom).

Besides English and German, I speak fluent Italian.

Artistic work is always individual. Therefore all sessions will be planned together based on your individual progress and wishes.
You will deepen your skills by practical exercises on different spots and settings. You will discover different materials and working methods.
Finally you will find your own artistic way of expression.

Courses in small groups are available.

Availability: Weekends / Weekdays (all times).

Matthias has been tutoring our 9-year-old daughter for past 3 months. Our first impression after we met with Matthias was great and nothing has changed ever since. Our daughter is very happy and engaged and is developing well in her drawing skills. Matthias is very patient and polite and has his own method of teaching which seems to work very well. We can`t recommend Matthias highly enough.

Fantastic teacher with great attitude helping my both kids to love art and learn to draw and use their creativity. Very patient but also so inspirational- my older one couldn’t stand any drawing exercise before and now all head into it.
Highly recommend.
