I am an enthusiastic, patient and successful teacher of English for 12 years having graduated from Staffordshire University. When qualified, I continued my studies with a Specialism in English Literacy and ESOL from Bolton University.

I teach SATS, GCSE - Language & Literature, English Functional Skills and ESOL (All levels) with experience ranging from age 5 upwards, including students with special educational needs.

I have an excellent rapport with all my students which helps motivate them to learn and succeed. All lessons are tailored to suit individual needs and we work at your pace.

Availability: Monday & Tuesday - evening
Wednesday, Thursday & Friday - late afternoon & evening
Saturday and Sunday (times to be arranged)

Experience: I have vast experience teaching English Language and Literature to GCSE students of all levels, and have successfully helped them achieve the grades they were aiming for. I also have experience teaching English to SATS students coming up to tests, to help them gain confidence to succeed.

I have tutored ESOL & English Functional Skills to learners from Entry 1 up to Level 2 for 5 years. More recently, I have taught English for Citizenship and IELTS, to assist professionals gain access to employment.
I lived in Paris for 2 years and taught English to a range of businessmen and generally to students eager to improve their conversational English.

My lessons are tailored to suit individual needs and I deliver so that learners are inspired to learn and progress. I have an excellent rapport with students of all ages which helps motivate them to learn.

More recently, I have been employed to teach English to young adults with autism and special educational needs which had proven to be a great success.
