I am a fun, dedicated and enthusiastic English teacher with 10 years experience at all levels of secondary school, from year 7 through to year 13. I love nothing more than passing on my knowledge and passion for the subject.

Having given up my position in school to raise my three children, I found that I was missing the `buzz` of the classroom and the satisfaction of helping pupils achieve their potential. Since I started tutoring, I have helped pupils to achieve results that they never believed possible and the grades they needed to go on and succeed further in their academic career.

I have a supportive approach to teaching and put the student at the heart of any lesson. Working on a one to one basis, I can adapt my lessons to suit the requirements and learning style. Through this, I have found that I am able to instill a sense of confidence and, hopefully, a love of the subject that isn`t always possible to achieve in a busy class of 30.

Availability: Having just moved house, I am now available to tutor one to one sessions in the area or online.
