Hi there, my name`s Josh. I`m a professional drum teacher and musician with tons of experience playing all sorts of styles of music, both live and in the studio. I`ve played at festivals around the UK and my work has been featured on BBC 2`s Rockfield Sessions, as well as numerous recordings.

I`ve been teaching for nearly a decade and in this time have helped dozens of students go from being total beginners to gig-ready drummers. I`m really passionate about teaching and love seeing students progress in ability and gain a new understanding of music.

Experience: I think you`ll find lessons with me friendly and relaxing but also very engaging and interesting. My lessons are tailored for each student based on their goals, so if you want to focus on learning songs, we`ll do that. If you want to become a technical whizz on the drums, we`ll make you one!

If you are a total beginner we will start from the ground up learning some basic beats and songs to get you playing in time to music. For more advanced drummers, I can help you identify where you may be going wrong and can work on correcting things such as posture, stick grip, foot technique, balance, as well as exploring more advanced concepts and techniques.

I have taught to exam standards at Grades 1-8 (Rockschool and Trinity) and can help you get prepared for the exams or just to learn the syllabus.
