I am a full time maths teacher in Winchester and a mum of 2 primary aged children, living in the meon valley.

I have studied Maths at both Southampton and Chichester Universities. I am a fully qualified Secondary Maths teacher who has experience with teaching all levels of maths. I have excellent knowledge of the new 1-9 Maths exam requirements and can help you to prepare for the new problem solving style to the exam with confidence and ease. My aim in lessons is to make sure that is it student led at every level, covering the content and correcting those misconceptions that have stopped you from understanding in school.

I strongly believe that to be able to get the grade you desire in your exam you need to be a confident mathematician who can apply a range of skills in any context. That is why I focus on improving your confidence, making sure all of the foundations are really strong to build on and application of skills through interesting and engaging investigations and problem solving.

Availability: Expecting to have availability over the summer holidays and from September 2021 for the new academic year.

Experience: I have been a secondary school teacher for 16 years. I have experience of teaching the full range of learning abilities and needs and can adapt my teaching to suit you individually.

I am excellent at supporting the struggling pupil to understand concepts and catch up with their peers or enabling the stronger pupil to make rapid progress through challenging them at the higher levels.

I particularly love algebra and fractions!
