Information about Georgie

Hello! My name is Georgie and I am a tutor living in London. I am currently studying medicine at Barts and the London School of Medicine and Dentistry (QMUL) and am in my penultimate year. Before studying medicine I worked for The Sunday Times for two years, and before that I received a first class honours in a History BA from the University of Bristol.

My style of tutoring is one of fairness, openness and compassion. My goal isn`t just to force you to pass your exams, but to make the process genuinely enjoyable. The best thing education did for me was to teach me how to be curious about the world and use academics as an opportunity to explore these curiosities.

I`m a firm believer that learning is made one thousand times easier the minute you find genuine interest in a subject. My hope is that, together, we can find something about your subject that interests you and use that to make all the other stuff (homework, coursework, even exams) a little easier and a lot more enjoyable.

Although I am open to tutoring all age groups, I have a particular passion for helping people apply to medical school, especially the always-daunting interview process. I can help guide you through the application process and, using worked examples, we can together build up your confidence to be able to tackle anything they may throw at you.
