I teach stills editing with Adobe Lightroom. I take a different approach to that adopted by certified courses which attempt to demonstrate all the possible uses of the software, I look at what you want to achieve and offer targeted, specific training and advice to get you up and running quickly and confidently.
Adobe Lightroom
Lightroom is a revelation, a logical workflow to edit any photograph leaving the original untouched. Its also a management system to organise all your shots, or can be used on top of your existing library without the need to copy individual shots. I can show you how to create distinctive moods, how to treat colours to give the visual clarity usually associated with black and white, how to duplicate a consistent look to a whole shoot. I can show you how to prepare shots differently for printing and screen display.

Availability: weekdays 1100-1800 £40/hr at my home (Richmond) £150for 3hrs (minimum) elsewhere in West London, travelling time if its in excess of one hour

Experience: I was a chief picture editor of BBC News for many years, I also worked as a producer on World Business Report, Working Lunch and the National News. I also have experience of editing corporate, documentary and drama productions.
I`m a multi-award winning photographer at international and UK national salons. Also I have shots at two agencies, Getty and Alamy.
