My name`s Lewis and I`m an experienced teacher of Science and History based in East London.

To me, excellent tutoring means getting to know your tutee, so you understand how they think and learn, and how they feel about their subject. I work out which areas a tutee is struggling with and then bring these to life, explaining the core concepts in ways that make sense for each individual tutee.

Building confidence is a key part of academic progress, and I put a lot of thought into planning lessons for tutees that allow them to thrive and feel that they are thriving.

Availability: Available throughout both days and evenings during the summer holidays. Available evenings and weekends during term time.

Experience: I have worked as a secondary school teacher for 9 years, and have really enjoyed helping students improve. I have worked well with students from a variety of backgrounds across Hackney, Barnet and Kensington & Chelsea.

I have a track record of successful one-one-one tuition.

I have taught History and all three Sciences up to GCSE level; I have taught History and Biology up to A-Level, achieving excellent exam results.

I am well organised and always prepare more than enough learning for each session.
