Information about Vicky
I graduated from the University of Glasgow in 2013 with a BSc Mathematics (2:1). I am the Senior Maths tutor of the Maths Aid service at Newcastle University in addition to working as a private tutor. I love learning and and this is something I enjoy being able to pass onto other people through fun and engaging activities. I am highly adaptable and my lessons are planned to individual needs and abilities. I am a very approachable and easy to talk to teacher so students feel comfortable expressing any concerns or misunderstandings, allowing us to make the best possible progress.
Availability: Evenings and weekends.

Experience: I have been tutoring privately for 7 years with great results. I have worked with students of all ages and abilities, from primary school up to undergraduate level. In October 2015 I also began working as the senior tutor of a maths tutoring service at Newcastle University. Prior to being a self employed tutor, I completed work placements in a secondary school, a middle school and a college.

Vicky has been a friendly and supportive tutor and I have enjoyed working with her. She is excellent at demystifying the knottier aspects of maths and is very efficient at covering topics without it feeling rushed, while all the time explaining her points clearly. It has been good fun and you can`t always say that about maths.
