I am an enthusiastic English tutor, passionate about helping secondary school students grow in confidence and achieve their best. I support students with everything from crafting exam-ready answers and analysing writers’ methods, to developing their own creative writing techniques. Each lesson is carefully tailored to the student’s needs and learning style to ensure individual progress. This September, I will begin teacher training with the Northampton Teacher Training Partnership (NTTP) to qualify as an English teacher. This allows me to bring both a genuine passion for the subject and up-to-date knowledge of the curriculum across exam boards, giving students exactly what they need to excel. My goal is not only to support academic success, but also to help students enjoy English as a subject that develops their voice, critical thinking, and creativity.

Experience: I recently completed an LLB Law degree at the University of Leicester, graduating with a 2:1 in June 2025. During my studies, I gained extensive experience in analysing complex texts, constructing clear and persuasive arguments, and writing with accuracy and precision. These skills directly complement the demands of GCSE English Language and Literature, particularly when helping students be able to critically think, refine their analytical abilities, and express ideas effectively in exam conditions.
Alongside my degree, I achieved an A grade in A-Level English Language, reflecting both my enthusiasm for the subject and my strong foundation in linguistic analysis and critical writing. Together, these experiences provide me with the academic background and communication skills needed to help students excel in English.
