With a long background of teaching in France, I offer reasonably priced one-to-one tuition to adult learners of French and French culture. Whether you want better French for holidays or for business, I can be there to help you. Cheerful and patient, I always tailor my lessons to the needs of the individual learner, whether he or she is a beginner or more advanced. My time living in France instilled in me not only a love of French, but a passion for teaching my own language. It was there, tutoring non-English speakers, that I really began to learn the skills necessary to structure my lessons and encourage my pupils. Above all, I believe learning a language should be enjoyable - and this is my emphasis in every lesson!

Availability: Very flexible during most weeks of the year, with a preference for teaching during the day. Very open to negotiation about lesson times between 9am-6pm.

Experience: A qualified and experienced English language teacher, I have taught both abroad and in the UK. I lived and worked in France for many years, so understand the needs of language learners. I now bring my passion for French language teaching to my area of Sussex, and already have a number of students. I specialise in one-to-one tuition because this is the most rewarding and efficient way of learning a language, and progress is rapid.
