My name is Matt and i am a History graduate from Queen Mary, University of London.

I have always been interested in History and i have maintained this interest since graduating. During my studies my interests were the early modern and modern periods with an interest in the intellectual histories of these periods. So i feel comfortable branching into areas of philosophy, politics and economics. So therefore most comfortable tutoring in these areas.

I am an open and patient person with good communication skills. I enjoy working with people on a one to one basis as this allows for work to be personalised around individual needs, which creates an enjoyable and production environment.

Availability: I am available weekends and on weekday evenings after 6.

Willing to travel: 10 miles

Experience: In the past my teaching experience was limited to teaching English as a foreign language. However i now work for a charity that provides tutors for school students that have been referred out of school. This has got me accustomed to working towards a set curriculum and the current educational standards in the UK.
