Information about Elizabeth
There is no easy way around it- Latin and Ancient Greek are hard to master. After three years at Durham University grappling with Homer, Herodotus, Catullus and Cicero Sappho and Suetonius and Aristotle in between I will readily admit that without help, bellum bellum bellum has a habit of morphing into blah, blah, blah.
I graduated this summer from Durham University, consistently ranked as one of the UK`s top three institutions for higher education in Classics, with a High 2.1 BA. Previously a scholar at RGS Worcester, and a student who has spent summers enrolled at Bryanston Greek Summer School, I am enthusiastic and fully equipped with all the necessary teaching equipment to take on any pupils from common entrance level up to advanced university standard. I am in my element working through the technicalities of both ancient languages, and am comfortable teaching translation into Latin, Ancient Greek, and of course into English from either. I am also trained in translating from the cunieform scri pt Akkadian. I have won prizes on an international platform for Latin literature, and would be delighted to work on this side of the syllabus too.

Feedback For Elizabeth (2)
She is awesome! She tutored my daughter and her friend Latin from scratch, and they both went on to get As in their GCSEs. Would highly recommend her!
Elizabeth tutored my daughter for her GCSE Greek exam. She was a wonderful tutor, always positive and enthusiastic, and always well prepared for the lesson. My daughter was struggling with the subject and considering giving up but Elizabeth gave her the confidence and knowledge to continue. I would highly recommend Elizabeth.
