I have been tutoring for 10+ years. I have also worked in schools for the same period of time. I currently work in a school in a senior leadership team post. My role is as a School Business Manager. As the School Business Manager I am leader of all Business function which include: Finance, HR, Legal, ICT, Marketing, Facilities. I am committed to Education and I have continued to study throughout my adult life. I have achieved many degree level qualifications. I have achieved the CIMA (chartered) and AAT accountancy Qualifications. As well as a degree in Chemistry with Business Management (Queen Mary, University of London: Upper Second Class) , PGCE (the majority, University of Greenwich) Higher Level Teaching Assistant Qualification. I am also currently studying towards a higher education diploma (degree level) in IT from the Chartered institute of IT (BCS).
Availability: Evenings and Weekends. I have around five pupils that I tutor each year, due to work commitments I don`t take on more, but also because it means that I am flexible and can offer these pupils extra lessons in the summer months/exam months. I am normally very busy from April to Mid June with current pupils, so I normally do not take on extra pupils during this time.
Willing to travel: 10 miles
Experience: I have had over 10 years of experience of tutoring and working in schools. I enjoy helping people and like to see them make progress. I have continued to tutor people throughout my career of working in schools. I would like to increase my experience of online tuition so I can offer discounted tuition in this area if it is suitable for the pupil.
