I have been an English Language and Literature teacher for 9 years, working with students of all different abilities and interests. I first trained to teach Key Stage 2 and 3 and since then have worked in Secondary school. I love to teach in fun and creative ways to show students that improving their English skills is something that should be both enjoyable and productive. My personal teaching style is very lively and interactive and I believe that to get the best out of my students it is important that I help them to feel both supported and challenged. There must also be a balance between student and teacher- I strive to find out how my students feel most comfortable learning but also know the importance of getting them out of their comfort zones and pushing them to truly reach their potential.
I am exceptionally committed to my students and I have been a leader of several advancements in my current school to improve the quality of teaching in all areas of the curriculum and across Key stages 3, 4 and 5. I work closely with students and other teachers to ensure that everyone involved in the learning journey is meeting their potential. Teaching has always been my passion and I look forward to the opportunity of working with even more students at different stages of their education.

Availability: Available for online lessons at weekends and face-to-face lessons weekdays (including evenings).
