I am a recently retired Primary School Headteacher, having been a teacher for 35 years. I qualified with a B.Ed. Honours Degree from University of Liverpool and also gained a Masters of Education in SEN from University of Leicester in 2006 and gained my NPQH in 2007.
I have taken two primary schools from OFSTED `Requires Improvement` to `Good` and have a strong track record in supporting children in school to reach their full potential and make more than expected progress.

Experience: I have taught children ranging from Reception through to Year 6.
My 35 year experience has taught me that every child is a unique individual so learning styles and personal ways of working need to be considered carefully when creating a successful individualised programme of learning.
I have high expectations and limitless patience. I seek to create a caring, engaging and secure learning environment which supports a child`s growth in learning confidence.
Experience shows that even the youngest child`s best learning comes from having the confidence to: `have a go`; question everything; not be afraid to make mistakes and engage in justification and reasoning.
