Personal statement:

I think that students should enjoy learning and even the most rigorous lessons should be fun. I am very patient and teach in a friendly, relaxed manner. I listen to and learn from students in order to tailor lessons to suit individual needs.
I have taught English at various levels, covering a wide age range: School and college students, GCSE and IGCSE students and mature students.

I am also an experienced EFL teacher. I work one to one, or with small groups. My specialist areas are English grammar and pronunciation. My wide experience and interest in subjects ranging from art and literature to popular science and current affairs, enable me to engage students` interest in conversation and listening and speaking exercises.


I have a B.A. a PGCE, a TESOL level five, professional qualifications in teaching the Gifted and Talented, Edward De Bono Cognitive Research tools and Philosophy for children.

Availability: My availability depends on current commitments and will be discussed with individual students to suit their needs.

As a general rule I am available Monday to Friday - 10.00 A.M. to 4.00 P.M.
