Information about James
About Me
I am currently a biology PhD student at Oxford University, where I previously attained a 1st Class BA in Biological Sciences. I have a strong interest in ornithology and I`m currently working in the field of behavioural ecology. Outside of academia, I love to spend time birding and taking photographs. I am also heavily involved in rowing for my Oxford college.
My Tutorials
I tutor biology across a broad range of topics, from animal behaviour and evolution to cell and molecular biology. In my tutorials, you will decide the content that you would like to cover, whether you are struggling with some aspect of the syllabus or if you want to gain a deeper understanding of a particular topic.
You will find my tutorials interactive and engaging. They are informed by my past experience of the Oxford Tutorial system, which I`ve found to be particularly effective for encouraging discussion and generating a longer-term understanding of content. Crucially, everyone has a different way of learning, so my tutorials will be tailored to suit your learning style and help you find a learning method that works for you!
