I have a first class degree in English Literature and English Language. I am patient and thorough and enjoy working with a range of ability levels with a clear focus on what is needed to help you succeed in your final exams.
Availability: Available Monday, Thursday and Friday evenings/ afternoons and possibly at weekends.
Willing to travel: 4 miles
Experience: I have over twenty five years experience at Sixth Form teaching and I have also been responsible for preparing students for the Oxbridge Admissions Tests in English Literature and preparing them for interview. My main specialisms are English Language A level, English Language GCSE and English Literature GCSE or A level. I have taught for AQA and Edexcel for English Language and for AQA and WJEC for English Literature. I have also examined for several years with a major exam board, recently for English Language.

Sue tutored my son’s girlfriend in her English Language A level. She was incredibly knowledgeable, engaging and flexible in her approach. She switched the format of her lessons to suit, and was very keen to make sure she delivered the best possible service. She got us through what was quite a difficult time, I would highly recommend.
