I am an approachable, knowledgeable and experienced qualified maths teacher who has recently relocated to Newport to pursue a career in professional football. Prior to this I spent 18 months working as a maths teacher in an outstanding comprehensive secondary school in Cambridgeshire.

I have extensive experience teaching students from year 7 up to year 11 and am therefore equally capable of tutoring both Key Stage 3 and GCSE level students.

I have previously tutored year 7 students who have struggled with the subject when they have first arrived at secondary school, year 11 students in the run-up to their GCSE exams, as well as various students from other year groups with differing needs.

I am happy to have an informal discussion regarding your child’s needs and what you would like to get out of the process. I am flexible with regards to the time, frequency and location of the tuition (See details below). I will provide my own resources and am happy to travel a reasonable distance to you.

I completed my PGCE in Secondary Mathematics at the University of Bedfordshire. Prior to that I obtained a 2:1 in Sport and Exercise Science at the University of Birmingham. I achieved a B in A-Level Mathematics and an A* in GCSE Mathematics from Hills Road Sixth Form College, Cambridge and Swavesey Village College, Cambridge respectively.
