Information about Fatwa
Currently studying Biomedical Sciences at St. Georges university of London
As a former tutored student myself, I understand the importance and the effect tutoring has upon an individual. Not only did tutoring improve my academic rapport but also my self-confidence because I grew to love learning due to the excellent tutors I had! My educators made learning fun and interactive; something which I now try to implement in my teaching style.
Coming from a disadvantaged low-income background and a low performing-school I appreciated the financial flexibility of my tutors who were understanding of my circumstances. The kindness my community showed me allowed me to excel in my studies and fulfil my potential.
My passion for studying grew when I took inspiration from my tutors as a child and decided to embark upon the same journey as they did. I began to tutor students in and around my area; supporting them in their homework, enhancing their maths and English skills and preparing them for their upcoming examinations. I absolutely loved the flexibility of the job! One of the most rewarding moments of my tutoring experience is when a childs face beams as they compete a task independently which their previously asked for help in! I believe I can be an asset to students with my dynamic qualities and passion for being an educator.
Note*****
Due to the pandemic, my ALEVEL exams were cancelled in the summer of 2020 and as Im sure many are well aware that results students received did not reflect their hard work and potential including myself. However I was still able to attain my first place at university studying Biomedical Sciences (BSC) at St. Georges university of London which I am now currently in my first year.
