Information about Beki
I’m a qualified maths teacher with over sixteen years of experience helping students discover confidence and success in maths. Friendly and approachable, I specialise in making maths understandable and enjoyable—whether supporting learners one-to-one or in the classroom. I’m fully up to date with the GCSE and A Level curriculum and take pride in tailoring each lesson to suit individual needs. With a variety of activities designed to match different learning styles, my lessons are always interactive, engaging, and focused on helping every student reach their full potential.
Availability: Available slots:
Tuesday 4-5pm, 5-6pm, 6-7pm, 7pm-8pm or 8pm-9pm
Thursday 4-5pm, 5-6pm, 6-7pm or 8-9pm

Experience: I taught KS3, GCSE and A Level Maths in secondary schools for a number of years. For the last ten years I have worked individually with KS2, KS3, GCSE, A Level and degree students at all levels on a one to one basis. For the last five years, I have taught almost entirely online.

Beki has been a brilliant tutor for my daughter for Maths (Higher) GCSE. She has a great ability to explain things in a way that my daughter was able to understand. She is very knowledgeable and well prepared. Beki set and marked work every week – including numerous practice exam papers. She also provided e-mail support outside of lessons. My daughter had missed a lot of schoolwork and was expected to take the Foundation Maths paper. She made so much progress with Beki that she sat the Higher Maths GCSE. Beki was also very flexible in terms of extra lessons just before the exams. We would like a to say a huge thank you to Beki and would thoroughly recommend her.

Our daughter in year 10 is very positive about her lessons with Beki. She finds them very useful. Beki is patient and supportive and explains the topics in a clear way. She is flexible and provides work which fits into topics being studies at school.
