I have teaching experience with a flexible and enthusiastic passion for developing an individual to progress from core skills to difficult concepts.
I like to engage students with a teaching style that is tailored to match their individual learning mode and needs. My approach tends towards a mentoring and coaching manner where the subject is alive and relevant to the individual student. This supports the route to success and achieving targets.
My aim is to enhance understanding and depth of knowledge and through this to raise confidence and improve grades.
Availability: I am available during the Tuesday to Friday late afternoon - evenings.

Experience: I have a BSc in Biology with Chemistry. I have 9 years teaching experience at a university in Kent together with analysis for drug discovery and bio-analytical companies. This provides a strong, relevant background for scope, depth and understanding to students studies. I am also an examiner and this experience provides insight and understanding of exam technique and styles.

Jennifer is a kind, enthusiastic and very knowledgeable tutor. She tutored my daughter GCSEs chemistry and biology for a year. Jennifer arrived on time fully prepared and brought lots of resources and practice papers. She left her homework to reinforce topics. Friendly tutors who was able to help build my daughter’s confidence in her subject knowledge and my daughter achieved a grade 9 in both subjects in her recent GCSEs results. Supportive and very flexible. My daughter has asked to have Jeniffer again for A levels chemistry

Jenifer is a pleasant, kind and patient tutor. She helped strengthen my weak points in Chemistry. Her homework and power points were useful. Jenifer also gave me good life advice and encouragement, especially when my confidence was low! I would definitely recommend Jenifer as a good helpful Chemistry tutor. I have passed my A level Chemistry and have secured my First choice University place.
