I have been a Primary school teacher for 35 years. Due to physical restrictions due to a hip replacement I am now fully retired from teaching in a school so have time to tutor on a one to one basis.
I have really enjoyed teaching Mathematics and English at school. I have a English degree and I have two advanced certificates in Mathematics. I enjoy the challenge of teaching Mathematics, of seeing the "light bulb moment!" when children suddenly get a concept.
I have two grown up daughters, one is a doctor in Derby Hospital and the other daughter is a Learning Support Teacher in a Junior school in Fareham.
I am very involved in my church activities and have helped to run the teenagers youth group on a Friday evening.

Availability: After school Mondays, Tuesdays

Willing to travel: 5 miles

Experience: Particular expertise in Maths (have A level) and in English (have A level and a degree).
Competent to tutor all primary subjects and English and Maths to GCSE foundation levels.
