Information about Callum
I am a recent Oxford graduate in English Language and Literature on a mission to make English make sense for everyone. Often in a big class at school you can become disillusioned with the subject, and it can seem as if it is just something you have to be `naturally good at`. However, in a one-to-one environment, I am yet to meet a student that hasn`t been able to come up with brilliant and surprising insights into literature when they are given the right tools.
Availability: I will be available for all of this summer and next year
Willing to travel: 10 miles
Experience: I have been tutoring students between KS3 and GCSE since 2016, on both the Language and Literature side. I also spent 10 days in Zambia a few years ago teaching English as a Foreign Language, English Literature, and History to students between the ages of 13 and 25.
