I am an experienced primary teacher and have taught across all subjects and age ranges. I have also taught and supported small groups and have previously helped with SATS booster groups and one to ones. I was previously the SENCO in a school and have experience of helping children with additional needs.

Helena tutored my daughter for her 11+ preparation, she had used her experience of teaching SATS exam to help my daughter on her comprehension and creative writing. For some other personal reason, she wasn`t able to continue. My daughter has enjoyed Helana`s teaching, I would recommend her.

Helena tutored my daughter on a one to one basis, as I felt she needed additional support since the primary school she attended decided to have her sit the Level 6 SAT maths exam, but then offered no further support in terms of teaching the actual curriculum, they just kept passing level 6 papers to her.
Helena made the lessons interesting and fun, taught my daughter sayings to remember and truly helped her develop. I would not hesitate to recommend Helena for primary school level maths tutoring. She is a wonderful, knowledgeable lady, and my daughter looked forward to the lessons - even requesting one throughout the SATS exam week, just for a refresher!
Highly recommended.
