Experience: My name is Maya and I’m a Hebrew teacher originally from Israel, with a Hebrew BA and more than 3 years of experience in language teaching and private tutoring. I’m currently living in the centre of London, studying for a Masters degree at Goldsmiths University, while working at the WLS synagogue as a Hebrew teacher for children and adults. (DBS certificate)

I’m teaching all levels of Hebrew- and whether you’re a complete beginner, or rather a fluent speaker who wants to advance even further- don’t hesitate to contact me.

I adjust the lesson structure according to the student’s needs and abilities and apply different kinds of teaching techniques specifically for each student which include:
-Conversation and day-to-day Hebrew
-Reading and writing
-Grammar
-Diction and fluency

I think it’s essential to study a new language in a fun, creative and supportive environment and that’s what I try to give my students.
I live in South-East London, but am willing to travel and meet you at your area, and also classes can take place at your favourite coffee shop or at your place ;)
