I am a fully qualified secondary maths teacher with extensive experience teaching and tutoring students from both independent and public schools. I hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a PGCE in Mathematics, as well as a master’s degree in Economics, which included modules in both pure and applied mathematics. I offer private maths tutoring for students at KS3, GCSE, and those preparing for the UK Maths Challenge. In addition to 1-to-1 sessions, I also run small group lessons.

I am tremendously enthusiastic about Maths and I love helping others to understand more and make mathematics enjoyable and approachable to everyone.

Availability: My teaching methodology is built on two key principles: skill development and adaptability. First, I design a tailored framework based on the most suitable approach for the student’s chosen curriculum. I then adapt each lesson to meet the student’s individual needs, taking into account their current understanding and grasp of key concepts. Additionally, I focus on fostering both analytical and critical thinking skills alongside subject knowledge. To achieve this, I use a range of resources, including worksheets, class tasks, and past papers. Finally, I place great importance on providing regular feedback to parents, ensuring they are informed about their child’s progress.
