I am passionate about education, enabling students to reach their full potential and to experience the joy of learning. I have a degree in biomedical science, I am a trained teacher and have been tutoring for over 6 years in maths, english and science.

The pressures of school life and exams can cause many students great anxiety. These anxieties can limit their achievement and so I aim to enable them overcome that obstacle by helping them to lose their fears of learning and building their confidence in their own ability. Learning can be great fun and once a young person is able to let go of their fears they begin to thrive in their studies. That is where there is a great benefit in one-to-one tuition because you can offer step by step guidance to the students. My tuition is completely tailored to the needs, learning style and goals of the student. My aim is create a safe space to ask questions, revise key concepts and practise exam technique in an unpressured environment.

Experience: Before lockdown I ran a successful tuition centre in Lincolnshire but I now tutor solely online via Zoom. Having taught a variety of subjects and levels, I now offer focussed KS3 and GCSE exam support. I have tutored many GCSE students through their exams and have also taught full GCSE curricula to home educated students. As result, I have a secure knowledge of OCR, AQA, EDEXCEL & EDUQAS GCSE curricula in maths, english, biology and chemistry. This gives me the ability to tailor my tuition by focussing on building knowledge of key concepts, practising exam technique and developing helpful study skills.
